Sarah Derriks–de Wit is a Principal Management- and Transformation Consultant and a Certified Facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method. Since early 2023, she has specialized in applying the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method in the Agile domain, combining it with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, and Design Thinking, grounded in extensive Agile knowledge from both theory and practice.
She brings a “backpack” full of expertise to every session, helping teams and leaders create transparency, strengthen collaboration, and improve decision-making. Through her company, Transforming Bricks, she facilitates workshops with the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method in the Netherlands and internationally.
She is the author of The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method for Agile Professionals (2024), translated into English and German, and her second book linking the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method with Lean is expected in 2026.

She supports organizations, teams, and leaders in strengthening transparency, collaboration, and decision making during Agile transformations and complex change, with a strong focus on group dynamics, psychological safety, and sustainable behavioural change.

She intentionally combines the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, and Design Thinking, using extensive Agile knowledge from both theory and practice to design workshops where the method delivers tangible outcomes, not just energy in the room. Participants build and share models that surface assumptions, create shared understanding, and translate insights into clear decisions, agreements, and next step experiments.
Typical themes include team collaboration, vision and strategy alignment, role clarity and decision rights, root causes and impediments, continuous improvement, and making goals and priorities concrete. Through her company, Transforming Bricks, Sarah facilitates LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method workshops in the Netherlands and internationally, and can be engaged as a facilitator, trainer, or invited speaker.
