About SUSAN

I work with leaders, teams, and organisations in complex, high-pressure environments where traditional meetings and workshops often fail to address what really matters. With a background in global health, international organisations, and systems change, I’ve seen how leadership, strategy, and inclusion stall when people don’t feel safe to think, speak, or show up fully. I use LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® as an innovative, evidence-based facilitation method to help groups think more clearly, creatively, and collectively – especially in moments of complexity, uncertainty, or change.

Through neurodiversity-informed coaching and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitation, I design workshops that create psychologically safe, inclusive spaces where every voice is heard and abstract challenges become tangible. Building with hands reduces hierarchy, slows thinking, and enables teams to explore culture, identity, strategy, trust, and inclusion in ways that traditional dialogue often can’t. This approach is particularly effective for leadership teams, diverse groups, and organisations navigating power dynamics, conflict, or overland and burnout, where honest conversation can otherwise feel risky or inaccessible.

Clients invite me to facilitate LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshops or speak at events when they are looking for insight rather than performance, and meaningful outcomes rather than surface engagement. My role is to design and facilitate a rigorous, inclusive process that supports insight, reflection, and shared ownership – so what emerges is memorable, actionable, and creates real-world impact. If you’re looking for a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator or invited speaker with a strong neurodiversity and systems-thinking lens, I’d be delighted to work with you.
