During an evening aimed at rebuilding trust within a community of 2,500 people grappling with rising tensions, approximately 80 members came together to engage in dialogue. Many who did not attend may have felt weary, angry, or doubtful about the prospect of dialogue. The event, guided by community leaders, focused on fostering communication across differing perspectives. Utilizing LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, participants were placed at mixed tables to collaborate on building models while addressing questions about effective communication and navigating complexities. This hands-on approach encouraged reflection and allowed diverse voices to be heard, revealing more common ground than expected. Feedback from participants highlighted feelings of being heard, discovering shared values, and participating in meaningful exchanges, demonstrating that dialogue can bridge differences and enhance understanding within the community.
Curiosity is my driver. I love to dig into new topics and understand them profoundly, to broaden my horizon. My main interest is related to other people, taking into consideration what moves and shakes them, to make a project work.
