A service designer in early childhood education explored how to amplify children’s voices in decision-making through LEGO SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP). Her research focused on co-designing participatory methods that align with Finland’s education laws and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Workshops using LSP allowed children to express their preferences for play activities, fostering engagement and inclusion. Findings showed LSP supports participation by providing space, voice, audience, and influence, making it a valuable tool for early childhood education professionals.
